North American studio acquisition strengthens commercial leadership and appoints industry veteran Claude Bordeleau as Chief Revenue Officer.

SINGAPORE, 27 March 2026 — Winking Studios (LSE: WKS; SGX: WKS), a leading provider of game art production and development services, today announced the strategic acquisition of AMPERA, a next-generation North American game development studio founded by industry veteran Claude Bordeleau.
AMPERA has built strong development capabilities and established relationships with leading game publishers in North America, making it well-suited to support Winking Studios’ expansion in Western markets.
Unlike capability-driven acquisitions, this transaction is focused on strengthening commercial leadership and business development. AMPERA will serve as a platform to attract senior industry talent, deepen publisher partnerships, and support long-term expansion across North America and Europe.

As part of the transaction, Claude Bordeleau will join Winking Studios as Chief Revenue Officer, leading global commercial strategy, revenue growth, and strategic M&A initiatives. He is joined by AMPERA’s founding leadership team, Luc Blouin (Business Development), Manuel Couture (Operations), and Guilherme Guimarães (Creative Direction), who bring complementary expertise across commercial strategy, production, and creative execution.
In the near term, AMPERA will operate as Winking Studios’ growth platform in North America, enabling closer collaboration with top-tier clients. The Company intends to further strengthen its commercial organisation through additional senior hires in the region.
This acquisition also advances the Company’s transition from art outsourcing toward an integrated solutions provider across art, design, engineering, and co-development, combining global production capabilities with strengthened Western leadership to deepen publisher partnerships and enhance value across the development lifecycle.
Johnny Jan, Founder and CEO of Winking Studios
” This acquisition marks another important step in our global expansion strategy. By strengthening our leadership presence in North America, we are enhancing our ability to work more closely with leading publishers and to support increasingly complex and long-term development partnerships. “

Following completion, AMPERA will continue to operate as part of Winking Studios’ global network. Further updates on integration progress, leadership appointments, and regional expansion will be provided in due course.
